    ABDF Honours Soldiers, Cadets and Civilians at Annual Christmas Luncheon

    His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, accompanied by Her Excellency Lady Williams, joined members of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF), including soldiers, cadets, and civilian staff, at the annual ABDF Christmas Luncheon on Tuesday, December 17, 2025.

    The proceedings were blessed by Lieutenant Dr. Rev. Olson Daniel. In a show of camaraderie and tradition, members of the ABDF Officer Corps served attendees during the event.

    The luncheon featured awards recognizing exceptional achievements throughout the year. Caribbean Cadet Medals were presented to Lieutenant Colonels Ivor Walker (Retired) and Alando Michael; Majors Herman Blackman (Retired) and Samuel Roberts; and Lieutenant Joseph Richards (Retired). Long Service and Good Conduct Medals were awarded to 13 members of the Force.

    Lance Corporal Rivaldo Bartley was recognized as the sole member of the 300 Club for achieving a perfect Physical Training (PT) score.

    Other awardees included Ms. Dena Baltimore (Civilian of the Year); Lance Corporal Tehrique Mason (Soldier of the Year); Private First Class Charlene Jeremy (Reserve of the Year); and Lance Corporal Monica Wright (Cadet of the Year).

    The event celebrated not only the achievements of the Defence Force but also the unity and dedication of its members, fostering pride and accomplishment as the year comes to a close.
