Virgin Atlantic will return as the transatlantic airline sponsor for Antigua Sailing Week when the event takes place from 22 to 26 April 2026.

Organisers say the renewed partnership strengthens Antigua’s position as a leading global sailing destination.

The airline will offer preferred fares on its London–Antigua route, providing more accessible travel options for crews, charter groups and spectators travelling from the UK.

The UK is one of the event’s strongest source markets, with hundreds of sailors and supporters attending each year for the racing and shore-side celebrations.

Rana-Jamila Lewis of Antigua Sailing Week said the agreement would help boost international participation and reinforce the island’s reputation as a world-class sailing hub.

Sean Edwards of Virgin Atlantic said the airline was proud to renew its association with the regatta and looked forward to welcoming competitors and supporters to the Caribbean.

Antigua Sailing Week is one of Antigua and Barbuda’s flagship sporting and tourism events, attracting international competitors and media coverage annually.
