    Funeral set for 9 April for Nikisha Rochelle Rose

    Funeral arrangements have been announced for Nikisha Rochelle Rose, who died following a fatal shooting earlier this year.

    Rose, who was born on 8 May 1980, died on 23 January 2026. Her death shocked the community and left relatives and friends grieving her loss.

    A Homegoing Service celebrating her life will take place on Thursday, 9 April at 13:00 at the Tindale Seventh-day Adventist Church on Tindale Road in St John’s.

    A viewing will be held earlier that day at Straffie’s Funeral Home from 11:00 to 12:00, allowing family members, friends and members of the public to pay their respects.

    The funeral notice also invites guests attending the service to wear purple in her memory.

    Rose has been remembered by loved ones as a warm and caring woman who left a lasting impression on the lives of those who knew her.
