Newly installed Member of Parliament Randy Baltimore has been elected Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.

This follows his swearing in earlier today.

Prime Minister Browne nominated Baltimore. The opposition did not field a nominee. The post of Deputy Speaker became vacant following the resignation of Sir Robin Yearwood who served in that capacity since 2023.
