The Antigua and Barbuda Diabetes Association is inviting members of the public to take part in a scenic hike to Body Pond as part of activities marking its 40th anniversary celebrations this year.

The hike is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, with participants gathering at the John Hughes Playing Field at 5:30 a.m. before moving off at 6:00 a.m.

Organizers said the event forms part of the association’s year-long programme of 40 activities commemorating four decades of service under the theme of prevention, care and support.

Participants will receive fruit, water, bush tea and porridge, while free raffles will also be held during the event.

The registration fee is EC$15, and interested persons can contact 268-464-4966 or any member of the association for additional information.
