The Minister of Health, Wellness, Environment, and Civil Service Affairs, Michael Joseph, has continued the distribution of gift baskets to Nurses across Antigua and Barbuda in recognition of Nurses Week 2026.
Following the successful presentation of baskets to Nurses at all 22 public clinics throughout Antigua, the Minister extended the initiative to Barbuda and several key healthcare institutions.
During his recent visit to Barbuda yesterday, Minister Joseph presented a gift basket to the Nurses at the Hanna Thomas Hospital as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service to the people of Barbuda.
Today, the Minister continued the initiative with visits to several healthcare institutions, including the Fiennes Institute, Care Project, Clarevue Psychiatric Hospital and the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where nurses were also presented with gift baskets in recognition of their invaluable contribution to the healthcare system.
Minister Joseph commended the nation’s Nurses for their unwavering commitment, compassion, and resilience noting that their hard work continues to play a critical role in the delivery of quality healthcare services throughout Antigua and Barbuda.
The gift baskets were personally sponsored by Minister Joseph as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for the dedication demonstrated daily by nurses across the country.
