    Ministry Issues Reminder on Closure of St. John’s Public Cemetery – Antigua News Room

    (Closure of the St. John’s Public Cemetery to New Burials)

    The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs wishes to once again inform the general public that the St. John’s Public Cemetery has been officially closed to new burials with effect from April 1, 2026.

    As a result, all public burials will now be facilitated at Tranquility Park Cemetery.

    The Ministry is appealing to members of the public for their cooperation and understanding as efforts continue to ensure the orderly management of public burial spaces and related services.
