Opposition Senator Malaka Parker is celebrating a major academic achievement after her daughter, Mene’ Tovi Lewis, graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 3D Animation.

In a social media post shared on Friday, Parker expressed pride in her first-born daughter and thanked God for what she described as His “grace and mercy.”

“Help me congratulate, applaud and hug up my first born — Mene’ Tovi Lewis who graduated yesterday from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Animation!” Parker wrote.

The post included photographs from the commencement ceremony, showing Lewis in her graduation gown holding her diploma cover and flowers alongside family members. Images of the graduation programme and SCAD commencement booklet were also shared.

The achievement marks the completion of Lewis’ studies in 3D Animation, a field focused on digital design, visual storytelling and computer-generated imagery used in film, television, gaming and other creative industries.
