Salvation Army District Officer for Antigua and Barbuda, Major Jean Raymoncil Pierre, has been recognized and honoured for 25 years of dedicated service to The Salvation Army.

Major Pierre received the award during a special ceremony held in Jamaica, attended by officers, soldiers, and supporters from across the Caribbean Territory.

In addition to his leadership role in Antigua and Barbuda, Major Pierre also has oversight responsibilities for St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Maarten. The recognition highlights his unwavering commitment to serving communities, advancing the mission of The Salvation Army, and providing compassionate leadership throughout the region.

Over the past quarter-century, Major Pierre has faithfully ministered to individuals and families across the Caribbean, championing initiatives that address spiritual, social, and humanitarian needs. His leadership has strengthened Salvation Army ministries in Antigua and Barbuda while supporting the continued growth and development of the organisation’s work in St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Maarten.

The gathering in Jamaica also marked the graduation and commissioning of the “Keepers of the Covenant” Session, a group of newly trained Salvation Army officers who successfully completed their preparation for ministry and service.

The graduates were recognised for their commitment to God’s calling and their readiness to serve communities throughout the Caribbean Territory and beyond.

The “Keepers of the Covenant” theme reflects the values of faithfulness, commitment, and lifelong service that define Salvation Army officership.

The commissioning ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the organisation’s ongoing mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name.

The Salvation Army Antigua and Barbuda extends heartfelt congratulations to Major Jean Raymoncil Pierre on this significant milestone and to all graduates of the Keepers of the Covenant Session as they begin their ministry.

The Salvation Army is an international Christian church and charitable organisation committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs without discrimination.
