Sir Clarence “Oungku” Edwards, leader of the band Burning Flames, is recovering at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after being admitted following a medical incident on Tuesday.

The veteran musician said in a social media post that he is doing well and is following doctors’ advice to rest. He thanked supporters for their concern but asked the public to limit phone calls and messages, saying they were disrupting both his recovery and hospital operations.

A photo shared with the post showed Sir Clarence smiling from his hospital bed.

No further details have been released about the nature of the medical incident or his condition.
