Prime Minister Gaston Browne has celebrated a proud family milestone after his daughter, Britney Browne, graduated with a Master’s Degree in International Business from Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom.
The Prime Minister travelled to the UK to attend the graduation ceremony, describing the occasion as one of the proudest moments of his life.
Speaking to Antigua.news, Browne praised his daughter’s dedication and said her success reflected years of hard work and perseverance. He also reiterated his belief that education is the most valuable investment for both families and nations.
The Prime Minister highlighted his administration’s continued investment in higher education, pointing to the expansion of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus as part of efforts to increase opportunities for young Antiguans and Barbudans.
Browne said he hopes Britney’s achievement will encourage other young people to pursue higher education and strive for excellence. He added that, despite the demands of public office, attending his daughter’s graduation was a special moment that underscored the importance of family.
