At least four groups have expressed interest in buying Jolly Beach, with the Government hoping a sale could fetch close to EC$100 million.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne said the interested parties include groups linked to Marriott, Club Med, Iberostar and a Chinese investor that has offered between US$30 million and US$35 million.

The Chinese group has proposed developing a Rosewood-branded hotel, subject to the luxury brand’s approval.

No preferred bidder has been selected, and negotiations and due diligence are continuing.
