Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority Chief Marketing Officer Charmaine Spencer has been announced as a speaker at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the Tourism Industry Conference (SOTIC) 2026.

The conference will be held in Guyana from October 5–9.

Spencer, who has more than 15 years of tourism experience, oversees the authority’s global marketing, brand strategy, communications, market intelligence and promotional activities across key source markets.

Before assuming her current position, she led the authority’s Caribbean and Latin America portfolio, focusing on market development and improved air and sea connectivity. Caribbean stayover arrivals to Antigua and Barbuda reportedly increased by approximately 39 per cent between 2022 and 2024 under her leadership.

At SOTIC 2026, Spencer is expected to contribute to discussions on destination marketing, regional connectivity and sustainable tourism growth.
