Three hundred students on the eastern side of Antigua have received back-to-school supplies through an initiative led by entrepreneurs Daran Joseph and Adrian Richardson.
The packages were distributed to students at Freetown Primary School, Newfield Primary School and Willikies Primary School.
Joseph, founder of Daran’s Dumpster Rentals, said he started his business at 18 and was proud to give back to Willikies Primary School, which helped shape the person he is today.
Richardson, an entrepreneur and community activist, encouraged other young business owners to invest in the nation that has contributed to their development.
Joseph and Richardson have pledged to continue the initiative annually as part of their commitment to helping build a better nation.
