Trade Minister E.P. Chet Greene has congratulated Ariel Edwards on the launch of Cuddle Soft, which he described as Antigua and Barbuda’s first locally manufactured three-ply toilet paper.

Greene called the launch a proud milestone for local entrepreneurship, innovation and the growth of the national economy.

“Your investment in local production demonstrates confidence in our people, our talent and the strength of our economy,” he said in a congratulatory message.

He praised Edwards’ vision, determination and commitment to producing a product at home, expressing hope that Cuddle Soft’s growth would inspire other Antiguans and Barbudans to pursue local business opportunities.

Greene also wished Edwards continued success, encouraging investment in domestic production as a way to build the country’s economy.
