Roumeila Daniel (PC- ABWU)

The Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union (ABWU) is mourning the passing of Roumeila Daniel, a member of its executive who also served as a shop steward and was described as a dedicated supporter of the organisation.

In a statement, the union said its executive, staff and members were deeply saddened by Daniel’s death.

“Sis. Daniel was an Executive member, shop steward and faithful supporter of the Union,” the ABWU said.

The union extended condolences to Daniel’s family, friends, colleagues and loved ones as it paid tribute to her service and commitment to the labour movement.

“We extend sincere condolences to her family, friends, colleagues and loved ones,” the statement said.

“May her soul rest in peace.”

The ABWU did not disclose the circumstances surrounding Daniel’s death or provide details about funeral arrangements.
