    COMMUNITY NOTICE

Residents are advised that a mass evacuation exercise will take place Tuesday, the 27th of October at the newly reconstructed National Performing Arts Centre on High Street in St. John’s.

This will be facilitated by the National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) between the hours of 10:00 am and 12 noon. Individuals in the vicinity of the performing arts centre will notice a buzz of activity and should not be alarmed.

The evacuation drill is in preparation for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) scheduled for November.

NODS is appealing to the public to cooperate fully with emergency personnel.
