A NEW CHAPTER IN CARIBBEAN SPORT LEADERSHIP
The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) has confirmed its Executive Committee for the 2026–2030 quadrennium following elections held during its 24th General Assembly in Curaçao on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
Keith Joseph of St. Vincent and the Grenadine returns as President, leading a seven-member Executive Committee representing National Olympic Committees from across the Caribbean.
The elections formed part of CANOC’s 24th General Assembly, bringing together the Caribbean Olympic Movement in Curaçao for dialogue, collaboration and decisions shaping the organization’s future.
Three positions were contested: First Vice President, Second Vice President and Secretary General. The positions of President, Treasurer and the two Executive Members were uncontested.
With five new members joining two returning members from the previous administration, the newly constituted Executive Committee represents a significant leadership transition while maintaining continuity and institutional experience. Female representation has also been maintained, with two women serving on the seven-member Committee.
The Executive Committee will serve a four-year term (2026–2030), continuing CANOC’s work in strengthening regional solidarity, advancing sports governance, fostering strategic partnerships and expanding opportunities for athletes and sporting organizations throughout the Caribbean.
