Two contingents of nurses and student nurses from Antigua and Barbuda are participating in the Caribbean Nurses Organization’s 34th Biennial Meeting and Conference in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The event runs from Oct. 23 to 31 and includes representatives from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
In a statement, the medical centre said the programme began with a church service bringing participants together in fellowship and unity.
Educational sessions provide opportunities for professional development, knowledge sharing, networking and strengthening partnerships among nurses across the region.
The participants are also observing CNO Day, which recognises the dedication, resilience, compassion and contributions of Caribbean nurses.
The medical centre extended best wishes to Antigua and Barbuda’s representatives, encouraging them to learn from the sessions and build connections with regional colleagues.
