Officials from the Antigua and Barbuda Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU) and the Management of Central Marketing Corporation (CMC) met on Friday, 20th June 2025, at the Office of the Antigua and Barbuda Employer’s Federation to formally sign an agreement outlining terms and conditions of employment for Line Staff represented by the Union.

Under the newly signed agreement, Line Staff will benefit from a ten percent (10%) wage increase. At the time of signing, employees had already received retroactive payments associated with the increase, along with the implementation of the new wage rates.

In the first quarter of 2023, Line Staff were granted a six percent (6%) wage increase for the period 2019–2021. Despite delays in negotiations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the AT&LU successfully secured retroactive increases for that period.

The latest ten percent (10%) increase now covers the period 2022–2024, marking another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the AT&LU and CMC management to improve conditions for workers.
