The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have begun unveiling key members of their squad for the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), with several established regional players confirmed for the upcoming season.
Among the players announced by the franchise are West Indies cricketers Evin Lewis, Fabian Allen, Alzarri Joseph, Amir Jangoo, Jayden Seales and Shamar Springer.
In a social media campaign promoting the squad, the Falcons described the team as “built with Caribbean fire” as preparations intensify for CPL 2026.
“A strong core of regional stars is set to represent the Falcons as we gear up for CPL 2026,” the franchise said.
The announcements come as the team also confirmed the return of Paul Nixon as head coach for the new season.
The Falcons described Nixon as “a proven winner with one of the strongest coaching records in franchise cricket,” citing his experience in T20 competitions across several countries and his previous CPL success with the Jamaica Tallawahs.
Promotional material shared by the franchise highlighted Nixon’s reported 63 percent win percentage in franchise T20 cricket and his role in developing winning teams internationally.
The team has also launched a marketing campaign ahead of the tournament under the slogan, “Come for the fete. Stay for the match.”
“The vibes are back, the music is louder, and the cricket is bigger than ever,” the Falcons said in another promotional post.
The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons are expected to continue announcing additions to their squad in the lead-up to CPL 2026 as franchises across the region finalize preparations for the tournament.
