Education Minister Daryll S. Matthew has congratulated national cyclist Tahjé Browne on graduating from the Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies (ABCAS), noting the achievement comes after Browne’s recovery from a serious accident that nearly claimed his life.

In a social media message, Matthew said Browne’s graduation was a testament to his resilience and determination.

“Despite the near tragedy you experienced, God’s grace has brought you safely to this milestone,” the minister wrote. “Your perseverance, resilience, and determination have carried you across yet another finish line.”

Matthew said he hopes the accomplishment marks the beginning of even greater success for Browne, both in his cycling career and other areas of his life.

He also wished the national cyclist continued good health, God’s blessings and success in the future.

Browne’s graduation has been welcomed as another milestone in his recovery after the serious accident that sidelined one of Antigua and Barbuda’s top cyclists.
