    Nominations Open for 2026 National Tourism Awards

    The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2026 National Tourism Awards, an annual celebration recognizing the outstanding individuals who contribute to the quality, professionalism and excellence of Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry.

    The National Tourism Awards form an important part of the annual Tourism Week celebrations, providing an opportunity to recognize the people whose dedication and commitment help to create memorable experiences for visitors and strengthen Antigua and Barbuda’s reputation as a premier tourism destination. Previous Tourism Awards have similarly served as a key feature of Tourism Week, celebrating excellence across the industry.

    For 2026, nominations are being accepted in the following categories; port front line employee of the year (Airport), port front Line employee of the year (Seaport), customer service excellence, tour guide of the year and transportation service provider of the Year.

    The Ministry is encouraging the public, tourism stakeholders and industry partners to take this opportunity to recognize individuals and service providers who consistently demonstrate exceptional professionalism, customer service, dedication and commitment to Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism product.

    All nominations must be submitted by Friday, October 2, 2026 and nomination forms can be obtained from the Ministry of Tourism at the Government Offices Complex on Queen Elizabeth Highway.
