Environmental stewardship is another area where Antiguans are being recognised. Refica Attwood of Wallings Nature Reserve and Sasha Middleton, a climate justice advocate, are both nominated. Middleton also appears in two other categories: Emerging Caribbean Leader and Community & Culture Impact.
Entrepreneur Keisha Knight, of Knight Legacy Farm and Mill Reef Club, is among the finalists for the Entrepreneur Excellence Award—the most competitive category. She is also up for the Empowerment in Action Award.
Other nominees include Charity Henry, recognised in the Artistry in Beauty category for her work as a make-up artist, and mental health advocate Chaneil Imhoff, nominated for the Health Advocate Award.
