Mental Health Talk Antigua is thrilled to announce a transformative partnership with St. Barnabas and St. Paul’s Anglican Church to launch a new mental health ministry within the church. This collaboration is designed to provide vital emotional and psychological support to the congregation while hosting meaningful activities for the broader St. Paul’s community.

This ministry will serve as a faith-based platform for mental wellness, offering support, education, and outreach aimed at nurturing both spiritual and emotional well-being. With this step, the church becomes a beacon of healing and hope, where mental health conversations are welcomed and support systems are accessible.

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, we have expanded our efforts with a series of impactful initiatives, including:

    • Mental Health Pin Drive – Show your support by purchasing our green mental health awareness pins for $2 or $5. Proceeds will go toward mental health outreach and programming.
    • School Engagements – We’re actively visiting selected schools to educate and engage young people in conversations about mental health and wellness.
    • Wear Green Campaign – We encourage everyone to wear green throughout the month as a symbol of solidarity and support for mental health awareness.
    • Social Media Awareness – Join the movement online by following our posts, sharing our message, and using our official hashtag to spread awareness.
    • Mental Health Talk LIVE – Our weekly live Facebook broadcast continues, featuring stories and discussions that inform, uplift, and inspire.
    • Special ABS Radio Feature – On May 19th, tune in to ABS Radio for a special interview with our guest who has turned “awareness into action,” embodying the true spirit of this year’s theme.

We also want to extend a special thank you to everyone who came out to support our annual flagship event, Mindful. It was a true success, and your energy, presence, and participation helped to create a safe, inspiring space for growth and healing.

A sincere thank you goes out to our generous sponsors who made Mindful possible. Your support played a key role in helping us deliver a meaningful, high-impact event that continues to resonate within the community.

“We are deeply excited to begin this journey with St. Barnabas and St. Paul’s Anglican Church,” said Regina Apparico, Co-Founder and Chairperson of Mental Health Talk Antigua. “This partnership reflects our shared belief that healing and hope can be nurtured when faith and mental health advocacy come together.”

Together, we’re making a powerful statement: Mental health matters, and our community deserves spaces—both sacred and public—where support, education, and love are freely given.
