    Man robbed by bandit he knows

    The police are investigating an incident during which a resident of Golden Grove Extension was robbed and bitten in the face by a bandit.

    Reports are that the victim was robbed of $500 by a man, known to him by an alias.

    During the incident which occurred on May 26 at about 1:50am on Tindale Road, the victim was approached by the perpetrator – who is reportedly from Grays Farm – and who asked him for money.

    He refused the demand and the perpetrator then pushed him to the ground, bit him in his face and began to beat him about the body with his fist.

    The assailant then pushed his hands in the victim’s pocket and removed his money before fleeing from the scene.

    As a result, the injured man had to receive medical treatment.
