As you prepare to take this important step in your academic journey—the Grade 6 National Assessment – I want you to know how proud I am of each and every one of you. This moment marks the culmination of your primary school years, and the beginning of exciting new possibilities ahead.

I know that preparing for exams can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I want you to remember this: you are capable, you are prepared, and you are not alone. Your teachers have worked hard to guide you. Your parents, guardians, and communities have supported you. And you have shown resilience, curiosity, and courage every step of the way.

This assessment is simply one chapter in your story – not the whole book. No test can measure the full brilliance of your mind, the kindness in your heart, or the unique gifts you bring to this world. So, as you enter the exam room, do so with confidence. Breathe deeply. Read carefully. Think clearly. Trust in God. And give it your very best.

Most importantly, believe in yourself as much as we believe in you.

On behalf of the entire Ministry of Education and the people of our nation, I wish you calm minds, steady hands, and success in abundance.

    With pride and encouragement,

    Hon. Daryll S. Matthew

    Minister of Education
