Akini Walker has pleaded guilty to possessing a military-style FN rifle, which prosecutors described as “a battle rifle.”

Police say the weapon is so powerful that no protective vest in Antigua could stop its rounds.

The court heard that Walker was arrested during a Sunday morning raid, after allegedly attempting to flee by jumping through a window.

His lawyer claims police tortured him to obtain the passcode to his phone, including the use of waterboarding — an allegation authorities have not publicly addressed.

Walker is due to be sentenced next Wednesday.
