The Police Administration has provided an update on the condition of Police Constable Travon Giddings, who was injured in the line of duty during a recent shooting incident.
Constable Giddings remains hospitalized and is currently recovering after undergoing emergency surgery to amputate his severely injured right leg.
Despite the seriousness of his injuries, he is reported to be in good spirit and showing signs of steady recovery.
The Police Administration remains deeply concerned about this incident and is closely monitoring his medical progress.
Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Everton Jeffers, has been in direct contact with Constable Giddings’ family and has assured them that all necessary resources are being provided to ensure he receives the highest standard of medical care.
Acting Commissioner Jeffers also extends heartfelt gratitude to members of the public who have expressed their support and concern, and to those who have already come forward with information.
