    Morocco Offers Full Scholarship to Antiguan and Barbudan Student for 2025/2026 Academic Year

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce that the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation has opened its “Scholarships of Excellence” Program, set up by the AMCI, in partnership with the Al Akhawayn University of Ifrane (AUI), for the academic year 2025/2026.

    In this regard, one scholarship is being offered to a national of Antigua and Barbuda to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in academic programs, taught in English.

    The training courses included in this program are:

    Bachelor level:

    – Bachelor of arts international studies;

    – Bachelor of science in renewable energy systems engineering;

    – Bachelor of science in intelligence and robotization.

    Master level:

    – Master arts in international studies and diplomacy;

    – Master of business administration;

    – Master of science in sustainable energy management.

    It is important to emphasize that this Excellence Scholarship program consists of support, jointly, by the AMCI and the AUI, for beneficiary students with regard to the following benefits:

    • Support by the AMCI:

    – Air transport costs, round-trip airfare (at the end of the cycle of studies);

    – Reception at the airport and transportation to the AUI.

    – Accommodation and catering costs on the AUI campus during the study stay.

    – AUI library fees;

    – Health insurance and repatriation costs in the event of death;

    – Monthly grant (per diem);

    • Support by the AUl:

    – Exemption from registration and tuition fees.

    Candidates interested in the said Scholarship of Excellence program will have to complete the following required conditions:

    • For the “Bachelor” program: Be at most 20 years old on September 1, 2025 and hold a baccalaureate (end of the secondary education cycle) obtained in 2025 or 2024, with a minimum average (score) of 95/100;

    • For the “Master” program: Be 25 years old at most on 1st September 2025 and hold a Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to the Moroccan license), obtained with a minimum average (score) of 95/100.

    The candidates’ files must include the documents listed below, in two copies:

    A) For candidates for the “Bachelor” program:

    – A request for registration and motivation with mention of the chosen sector;

    – Certified photocopy of the baccalaureate or equivalent (certificate of secondary education);

    – Photocopy of transcripts of the years of the secondary education cycle;

    – Extract of birth certificate;

    – Photocopy of the passport, or failing that, of a valid identity document;

    – A recent clean criminal record;

    – A medical certificate issued by the public health services attesting to the candidate’s physical fitness, and that he/she is vaccinated and has no contagious or acute disease. The candidate may be forced to do a counter-visit upon his arrival in Morocco;

    – 02 recent passport photos, in color, bearing the candidate’s name on the back.

    B) For candidates for the “Master” program:

    – Documents referred to in point (a);

    – Certified copy of the License, Bachelor or equivalent;

    – Photocopy of the transcripts of the years of the “Bachelor” license;

    – A TOFEL score report for candidates whose English is not the mother tongue.

    This scholarship program of excellence requires, on the part of the beneficiary student, an unwavering commitment and rigour with respect to the rules of procedure of the AUI. The student benefiting from this program is called upon to make more effort to succeed in his academic course within the normal deadlines and with the expected merit.

    In accordance with the study regulations in force at the AUI, the renewal of the Scholarship of Excellence is conditioned by obtaining good academic results at the end of each semester. Otherwise, the student will be excluded from the Excellence Scholarships program and will return to his country of origin.
