A 16-year-old resident of Armstrong Road is facing a larceny charge after police accused her of stealing a piece of jewelry from a woman in Perry Bay.

According to investigators, the teenager was arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a silver neck chain valued at EC$150 and owned by Isha Joseph.

Police said the alleged incident took place on May 24 in the Perry Bay area.

The accused is expected to appear before the court on a date to be determined.
