The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) says rehabilitation work on the approximately 1.5 million imperial gallon water storage tank at Crabbs is progressing steadily, with a key phase of the project now complete.
According to an update shared by APUA, contractors have finished applying the first coat to the interior shell of the tank as restoration work continues.
The project also includes replacing the tank’s entire base and installing protective rings designed to guard against corrosion, measures aimed at extending the structure’s lifespan and improving its reliability.
No timeline has been announced for the completion of the project.
