Police are currently searching for the suspects alleged to be involved in a robbery at Brownie’s Bakery in Potters and a shooting incident at Hatton.

In the first incident, a lone masked gunman entered Browne’s Bakery and robbed the cashier of an undisclosed sum of money.

He is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and slimly built. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly dressed in a red long-sleeved hoodie, with a red bandanna covering his face, and was also wearing sunglasses and gloves.

Following the incident, the suspect fled the establishment on foot and reportedly entered a silver Honda Accord motor car, which drove away from the area. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, 1st September.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a shooting at Hatton that occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Trevor Underwood of Weatherhills Estate was reportedly shot while inside his vehicle in the vicinity of Bruce’s Night Club. The victim drove himself to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was treated for two gunshot wounds to the lower abdomen. He was reported to be in critical condition and required emergency surgery.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed either incident, or may have information that could assist with identifying the persons involved, to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.

Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
