The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs recently welcomed Adrienne Pizatella of Bloomberg and her team for a tour of the Primary Eye Care Unit at the Gray’s Green Community Centre.

The visit was hosted by Minister of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs, the Honourable Michael Joseph, alongside Ambassador Aubrey Webson, and provided an opportunity to showcase the development of the unit and highlight ongoing efforts to strengthen access to eye care services in Antigua and Barbuda.

The Primary Eye Care Unit forms part of the Government’s broader commitment to advancing vision health, improving access to early detection and bringing essential eye care services closer to communities.
