Nigerian carrier Air Peace has marked a significant milestone in its expansion journey by operating a nonstop flight from Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in Basseterre, St Kitts & Nevis.

The Boeing 777 aircraft touched down on 12 June 2025 after a 10-hour flight, carrying delegations from Nigeria for a Pan-African business conference in the Eastern Caribbean.

This achievement underscores Air Peace’s growing trajectory and strategic foray into the global market.

The St Kitts & Nevis service is the airline’s third venture into the Caribbean in five years, following successful flights to Jamaica in 2020 and Antigua & Barbuda in 2023. With this feat, Air Peace has established direct access to three key Caribbean destinations.

The flight was operated using one of Air Peace’s Boeing 777 aircraft, the same model currently sustaining the airline’s daily Lagos–London Gatwick service launched in March 2024.

Chairman and CEO, Dr Allen Onyema, has hinted at the acquisition of more long-haul aircraft, with new routes to Houston and New York on the horizon.

The Abuja–St Kitts flight is a testament to Air Peace’s ambition to transition from a regional powerhouse into a global contender.

With its steady expansion, the airline continues to live up to its motto: “Nigeria to the world — no stops, no limits.”

This latest milestone further cements Air Peace’s position as a leading Nigerian carrier connecting Africa to the world.
