    Magnitude 3.9 Earthquake Recorded Northwest of Antigua

    A magnitude 3.9 earthquake was recorded northwest of Antigua and Barbuda at 3:21pm on Monday, according to the UWI Seismic Research Centre.

    The quake occurred at a depth of 93 km, with its epicentre approximately 91 km northwest of St John’s.

    The information is preliminary and may be updated after further review by seismologists.
