The National Hurricane Center in Miami has confirmed the formation of Tropical Storm Dexter, the fourth named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season.
Dexter is currently tracking east-northeast at approximately 12 mph (19 km/h) and is forecast to accelerate through early Tuesday before gradually slowing later in the day and into Wednesday.
Maximum sustained winds are estimated at 45 mph (75 km/h). At this time, no coastal watches or warnings have been issued.
The storm is expected to remain well away from the Caribbean, posing no threat to Antigua and Barbuda or the wider region.
