Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Mobile Clinic Vandalised in Latest Break-In

Antigua & Barbuda Red Cross (ABRC): This morning’s (Saturday, May 17, 2025) feature marks a bittersweet milestone for our National Society.

While we acknowledge the national recognition of our efforts, we are again facing the devastation of another break-in—this time, our mobile clinic, just days after partnering to support island-wide dental screenings for children.

Since 2022, we have worked tirelessly to raise the standard of service and impact. Yet, we continue to experience repeated violations—smashed windows, stolen equipment, damaged vehicles, and now this latest blow.

These are not just financial setbacks; they are deep wounds to the mission we carry out for the people of this country.

Despite public perception, we operate with very limited resources. Every dollar spent on repairs is a dollar taken away from critical community services. We’ve appealed for help, and we continue to press forward.

To our dedicated team and selfless volunteers—thank you. We remain committed. Together, we can.
