    Dead man identified as 40-year-old Gintaras Lokcikas

    The police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 40-year-old Gintaras Lokcikas, a national of the Republic of Lithuania.

    His lifeless body was discovered along the shoreline of Mamora Bay shortly after 7 a.m. on Friday, 16 May. Mr. Lokcikas arrived in Antigua on Thursday, 8 May, and was staying at the St. James Club. He was scheduled to depart the island on Thursday, 15 May.

    Arrangements are currently underway for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

    The police have been in contact with relevant local and international authorities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives from the Lithuanian government to keep the informed of the investigation.

    The Police Administration expresses sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Lokcikas during this difficult time.
