The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) St. John’s Rural West Youth Arm, in collaboration with Senator the Hon. Michael Joseph, is proud to present its first-ever Father’s Day Sip & Paint, a vibrant, family-centered event taking place on Sunday, June 15th, 2025 at the Multipurpose Cultural Center, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
This free event invites fathers (or father figures) and their children to share quality time through art, play, and togetherness. More than just a celebration, it is a passionate call to action, part of a wider effort to promote positive father-child relationships and confront the rising issue of father absenteeism in our communities.
“As a father and husband, this initiative hits home for me,” said Senator the Hon. Michael Joseph, caretaker for the St. John’s Rural West constituency. “It’s important that we not only work to change the narrative of fatherhood but also take the time to highlight and honour those men who do step up, take on their role with pride, and pour love into their children every single day as a father or father figure.”
Event Highlights:
- Lawn Games: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Sip & Paint Session: Starts promptly at 2:00 PM
- All Supplies Provided
- FREE Entry – Registration Required
- No solo attendees – this event is for bonding moments only
This initiative reflects the Youth Arm’s commitment to building a stronger, more connected Rural West by supporting the youth and those that support them!
