Antigua and Barbuda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a nationwide campaign to involve young citizens in the lead-up to the 55th General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS55).
As part of the initiative, the Ministry is visiting schools across the country to foster awareness of diplomacy and international cooperation among future leaders.
On a recent stop, Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene visited the Christian Union Preschool & Junior Academy, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the Minister and officials from the Ministry.
The visit was described as a valuable learning experience, aimed at encouraging youth participation in national and regional affairs.
The campaign invites more schools to join the “Road to OAS55,” positioning students to be part of a historic moment in Antigua and Barbuda’s diplomatic calendar.
