Good Humans 268 Inc. invites the public, local business owners, homeowners, and government officials to attend a Public Consultation Session on the proposed Eco-Communities and Eco-Business Initiative set to pilot in the Jolly Harbour area.
The consultation, which will take place on Thursday, June 5th, offers two opportunities to attend—in-person at 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM at the Bougainvillea Conference Room, Jolly Beach Resort. An online Zoom option is also available to ensure broader participation.
This initiative is designed to empower communities and businesses to adopt environmentally responsible practices while creating opportunities for inclusive development. It focuses on sustainable waste management, eco-tourism, climate-conscious planning, and inclusive infrastructure that meets the needs of both residents and the environment.
Attendees will:
- Learn about the proposed eco-community model and how it applies to Jolly Harbour
- Ask questions, offer feedback, and voice their environmental concerns
- Discuss potential funding support available if the initiative moves forward
“Jolly Harbour has the potential to be a model for eco-friendly, resilient development in the Caribbean,” said Joshuanette Francis, Founder of Good Humans 268 Inc. “We believe this initiative can make a measurable difference for the environment, the local economy, and the people who call this area home.”
All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Registration is open at https://forms.gle/KTAUMsFsd3HcN1NaA. Zoom attendees can join here: Zoom Meeting Link Meeting ID: 898 1618 6997 | Passcode: fz1X27
