Senator Michael Freeland has pledged his commitment to the people of St George, announcing the upcoming opening of a new branch office in Potters as part of his efforts to provide stronger representation for the constituency.

Speaking during a Senate session on Thursday, Freeland stated, “I am here to serve the people of St George in the capacity that they see fit.” He said the cries for representation from residents had not gone unnoticed and assured them that he intends to deliver.

The senator revealed that the branch office will be opened on June 8th, allowing him to maintain a visible and active presence in the community. “Representation means you must have a presence not just through campaigning but a presence in an institution,” he said. “It is an absolute must.”

Freeland credited his behind-the-scenes team for their work in preparing the office, expressing gratitude for their efforts. “I must say the team that has been working behind the scenes to get that branch office open—I am thankful for them,” he noted.

Freeland called on the constituents of St George to unite in the face of future challenges. “Now is a time for us to work together,” he said. “There’s lots of work to be done… and in working together we can get quite a few things done.”
