Assistify officially launched its first Small Business Soirée on May 31, 2025, at the Antigua Planned Parenthood Association on Factory Road. The event brought together a vibrant mix of vendors who showcased their products and services, creating a lively and supportive atmosphere for local entrepreneurship.

The day was described as “fabulous” by attendees and organizers alike, as small business owners from various industries turned out in full force to represent their brands and connect with the community.

Victoria Charlton, Managing Director of Assistify, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who participated:

“From the absolute bottom of my heart ❤️, I want to thank you all for coming and being a part of this. It was truly a day to remember. I can only speak positively because each of you brought your A-game.”

Acknowledging the challenges small business owners face, Charlton added:

“As a small business owner myself, I understand the personal sacrifices it takes to show up. Every move we make is a risk—we work our 9–5, then our 5–9, pouring in our savings and energy, all in the hope of creating something greater. Not every effort brings an immediate return, but we are the heartbeat of resilient communities. The corporate grind is no longer sustainable; self-sufficiency is the new strength.”

Among the highlights of the day were the Kidpreneurs, young entrepreneurs who stood out for their creativity, courage, and crowd engagement.

“You were true fan favorites,” said Charlton. “Thank you for your energy and effort—you were amazing and truly appreciated.”

The event also featured the Brand & Beyond Challenge, with Shan and Mike Enterprise emerging as the winner.

“We at Assistify are so proud of you and hope this win gives your business the boost it needs to reach even greater heights,” said Charlton.

Charlton also extended her sincere thanks to key supporters and sponsors who helped make the event a success, including Wadadli Cats, Fox House, HWright Promotions, Sounds Bungles, Daniel Antonio, Callidora, Pool Works International (Anu) Ltd, and Sister to Sister’s Beauty from Guyana. A special acknowledgment was given to the Antigua Planned Parenthood Association for allowing the use of their venue.

“We are so grateful for your generosity and partnership,” she added.

The success of this inaugural event sets the stage for future community-driven business showcases under the Assistify banner.
