Prime Minister Gaston Browne said Antigua and Barbuda continues to exert influence on the global stage despite its small size, citing recent hosting of the UN SIDS4 Conference, the OAS General Assembly, and upcoming CHOGM 2026.

The Prime Minister highlighted the country’s #1 ranking in the Caribbean on the UN Human Development Index and emphasized its active role in climate change, reparations, and global financial reform discussions.

“We are small, but substantial; modest in geography, but consequential in influence,” Mr Browne said, stressing that Antigua and Barbuda’s voice is respected internationally.
