The Chinese Embassy in Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday publicly thanked residents for coming to its aid following a vehicle emergency.

In a post shared on social media, the embassy said it was “so grateful for the help from the local brothers and sisters here in Antigua,” describing those who stepped in as “heroes.”

“You guys stepped in when we needed it most,” the post read. “Thank you for the incredible kindness.”

Photos accompanying the message showed several men assisting with a vehicle that appeared to be stuck near a roadside drain.

The embassy did not provide further details about the incident but expressed appreciation for what it described as an act of community support.
