The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has announced that its Business Centre at the junction of High Street and Independence Avenue in St. John’s will close on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to accommodate activities associated with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

The authority said the closure will last one day, with normal operations expected to resume on Wednesday, November 4.

All other APUA bill payment locations and inet stores will remain open during regular business hours.

Customers are encouraged to use alternative payment options, including APUA’s website at www.apua.ag, the inet customer portal at myinethome.apua.ag, participating banks and credit unions, and the My inet mobile application.

APUA thanked customers for their understanding as Antigua and Barbuda prepares to host Commonwealth leaders and delegations for CHOGM 2026.
