Mikhail Roberts Simmons, a man in his twenties, is in critical condition at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after crashing his Honda Civic Type R into a tree on Airport Road late last night.

The Buckleys native, who works in Barbuda, underwent emergency surgery overnight due to the severity of his injuries. As news of the crash spread, friends and family took to social media to offer prayers and support.

The hospital has issued an urgent appeal for blood of any type to help save his life. Donations can be made at the SLBMC Blood Bank between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
