The United States National Hurricane Center (NHC) is monitoring two weather systems for potential tropical cyclone formation, in addition to tracking Tropical Storm Dexter.

One system is located off the southeastern coast of the United States, while the other is a tropical wave moving westward off the coast of Africa. According to the NHC, both systems have been assigned a medium (orange) chance of developing into tropical cyclones within the next seven days.

The announcement comes as the Atlantic hurricane season continues to build towards its peak, with forecasters urging the public to remain alert and follow official updates.
