    Jamal Bowen Fined $7,400 and Banned from Driving After Drug and Dangerous Driving Convictions

    Jamal Bowen was sentenced to a total of $7,400 in fines and a three-month driving license suspension after being convicted on charges of drug possession and dangerous driving. He was fined $6,800 for possessing 209 grams of cannabis with intent to supply, with 12 months to pay or face a year in prison. An additional $600 fine was imposed for dangerous driving, payable within seven days or resulting in 30 days’ imprisonment and the license suspension. Bowen was also discharged on a separate cannabis possession charge. The case stemmed from a police stop where drugs were found in his vehicle. Co-defendant Gibbons also faced related charges. The sentences will run concurrently.
